ASUS Supplier Code of Conduct
ASUS is a full member of the Responsible Business Alliance. By becoming a member of this leading international organization, we have established a responsible and transparent supply chain management framework that requires suppliers to have a safe working environment, no forced labor or child labor, respect and protection for employees, avoidance of environmental degradation and compliance with business ethics. We audit our key suppliers annually to ensure they follow the management framework, so users can be rest-assured that they are supporting a socially responsible and ethical company.
Responsible Mineral Procurement
We use Full Material Disclosure (FMD) to learn about the composition of ASUS products, and source “conflict materials” - tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold – from 100% qualified smelters to minimize the risk of illegal mining.
Sustainable Procurement
We considered not only traditional factors such as the quality, delivery schedule, cost, and services in ASUS‘s supply chain management, but have also included the suppliers’ sustainability performances as important management indicators. ASUS was further awarded the highest rating in the ISO 20400 by five key areas of sustainable management in 2025.
Group-wide RBA Management
ASUS is continuously strengthening its Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) management system by integrating key subsidiaries into the group's RBA framework, a crucial strategy for deepening sustainable governance. Since 2023, ASUS has launched the "Key Subsidiary RBA Management Program," which employs a three-stage collaboration and guidance approach to help subsidiaries establish codes of conduct and management systems that align with the RBA's principles. This extends to their supply chains, ensuring the implementation of core values such as labor rights, occupational safety, environmental responsibility, and business ethics.
Environmental Profit and Loss Assessment
ASUS is the first technology company to publish an Environmental Profit & Loss (EP&L) report, enabling stakeholders to easily understand the environmental impact of its supply chain and identify key hotspots. Starting in 2024, ASUS will leverage the EP&L results to further analyze the relationship between freshwater resource locations of critical suppliers and biodiversity, and implement tiered management. ASUS also released a Nature Impact Report based on the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosure (TNFD) framework, disclosing supply chain environmental management within ASUS's value chain.
Supplier Partnerships
We organize conferences and training for suppliers on a regular basis to convey our management requirements and strengthen the partnership with the supply chain.
