The world is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Whether driven by geopolitical realignments, severe volatility in the global economic and trade landscape, or the physical threats posed by climate risks, enterprises must demonstrate their ability to respond to multifaceted challenges and seize the opportunities presented in times of change to forge competitive advantages. As technology enters an era of exponential evolution, 2025 marked a critical turning point in which generative AI became fully embedded in corporations and began driving transformation across the value chain.
For ASUS, our focus is not merely on the adoption of technology, but on how digital empowerment can address core challenges, transform technology into measurable sustainability outcomes, enhance the quality of decision-making, and reshape the resilience of corporate operations. ASUS is dedicated to the goal of becoming a “comprehensive AI company” and regards AI empowerment as the driving force behind operational advancement and sustainable development. This transformation extends beyond product and technology innovation into the evolution of our corporate governance and management practices. Through the establishment of the Generative AI Committee, we have systematically identified and planned for internal AI use cases and established mechanisms to empower employees with this technology. At the same time, by deeply integrating AI and ESG, ASUS has developed the “AI x ESG Platform,” advancing sustainability governance from traditional management models toward a new paradigm of data-driven, intelligent decision-making. This enables management to respond quickly to risks and make decisions backed by reliable data when facing the multiple challenges of climate risk, evolving regulations, and market transformation.
In response to the evolution of international sustainability regulations and reporting frameworks, corporate sustainability management has entered a new stage of Group-wide governance. In 2025, ASUS formally established the Group-level Corporate Sustainability Committee as the highest governance body for advancing sustainability issues across the Group. Through this committee, ASUS comprehensively integrates Group resources, collaborates with subsidiaries to implement sustainability strategies, and enhances overall management synergies.
At the same time, the advancement of the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards represents a significant shift in the corporate management mindset. Sustainability is no longer merely a demonstration of corporate image in response to external expectations. It must be deeply integrated into business models, products and services, and financial performance, becoming an inseparable part of our core corporate strategy. This means that enterprises must adopt a more comprehensive governance framework to accurately identify sustainability and climate-related risks and opportunities, and incorporate them into their blueprint for long-term value creation.In 2025, ASUS made full climate-related disclosures in accordance with IFRS S2, further strengthening the linkage between ESG performance and financial information. Through the assessment of the financial effects of climate-related risks and opportunities, we use authentic and transparent data to demonstrate to stakeholders how ASUS transforms climate mitigation and adaptation actions into a resilient foundation for addressing future challenges, while continuing to create stable long-term business value. Guided by our In Search of Incredible brand spirit, ASUS continues to strengthen our brand value through innovative technologies and sustainability actions, earning high recognition on the international stage. In 2025, ASUS was selected for the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World for the first time, and once again received prestigious international honors, including Fortune magazine’s World’s Most Admired Companies, Best Taiwan Global Brands, and the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA). These recognitions demonstrate ASUS’s ability to lead sustainable development across the industry while advancing digital transformation.
Looking ahead, ASUS will continue to build on technological innovation and strengthen the integration of digital empowerment and sustainability governance. We will work hand in hand with global value chain partners to build a resilient, competitive, and sustainable business model that creates lasting, positive value for society and the environment worldwide. Through these efforts, we advance toward our vision of becoming the world’s most admired innovative leading technology enterprise in the new digital era.
Message from the CEO
In 2025, ASUS advanced toward a deeper, more comprehensive transformation in its sustainability journey. As global sustainability regulations and disclosure standards continue to evolve—including the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, and various requirements related to net zero and supply chain management—the responsibility of corporate sustainability management is no longer limited to a single enterprise, but has further extended to the entire ASUS Group and value chain.
ASUS regards its suppliers as important business partners. In addition to providing Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) engagement and counseling resources, ASUS also strengthens its suppliers’ capabilities in risk response and management for environmental issues such as carbon reduction and water resource management, working with supply chain partners to jointly enhance sustainability resilience. This year, ASUS also published its first Responsible Value Chain Report, comprehensively disclosing progress across the supply chain in areas including human rights, environmental impact, responsible minerals, and value chain management. At the same time, in response to the trend of sustainability governance moving toward group-wide management, the ASUS Corporate Sustainability Committee integrates Group resources and practical experience to support subsidiaries in strengthening their sustainability management capabilities, promote more comprehensive implementation of sustainability strategies across the Group, and further enhance overall governance effectiveness and sustainability competitiveness.
As the boundaries of sustainability management continue to expand, ASUS faces increasingly complex management data and continues to upgrade its governance model. This includes developing a data-driven “AI x ESG Platform” that combines AI applications with data technology capabilities to integrate sustainability management information and audit results from subsidiaries and the supply chain. Through AI-enabled proactive analysis and risk identification functions, ASUS is upgrading reporting and verification processes that previously relied on manual work into a real-time, proactive, and intelligent governance model. This effectively enhances data management efficiency, information transparency, and the overall quality of Group-level decision-making and risk response capabilities.
In terms of climate action, ASUS passed the SBTi Science-Based Net-Zero Target validation in 2025, establishing the Company’s long-term carbon-reduction pathway and governance commitment. Through concrete actions such as introducing renewable energy, enhancing product energy efficiency, and promoting supply chain decarbonization engagement and counseling, ASUS is working with value chain partners to jointly accelerate its net-zero transformation. ASUS also deploys renewable energy through diverse strategies, enabling its global operations centers to successfully meet the interim RE55 target and demonstrate concrete progress in fulfilling its net-zero commitment.
ASUS goes beyond passive compliance and continues to drive industry transformation through the momentum of innovation. In response to the stringent requirements of the latest Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT 2.0), ASUS made early investments in product design and actively participated in the standards discussion process. Leveraging our outstanding green design and low-carbon innovation capabilities, ASUS successfully enabled its flagship notebook computers to become among the world’s first products to achieve EPEAT 2.0 Gold, while also earning the EPEAT Climate+ Champion distinction. These achievements demonstrate ASUS’s leading position in developing and implementing global green product standards.
ASUS’s outstanding ESG performance is also reflected in international evaluations and authoritative recognition. ASUS has been listed in the Clean200 for four consecutive years, selected for the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, and recognized with Leadership-level ratings in both CDP Climate Change and CDP Water Security. These achievements not only highlight ASUS’s continued commitment to sustainability governance but also demonstrate concrete progress in transforming sustainability requirements into management capabilities and business outcomes. Looking ahead, ASUS will continue to deepen collaboration with value chain partners, steadily advance sustainability transformation, and move toward its vision of becoming a world-class green high-tech leader.
