Corporate Plastic Reduction
Since 2019, ASUS has fully implemented a plastic reduction policy. Disposable tableware has been completely banned in employee cafeterias, convenience stores, coffee shops, and other areas, with reusable or environmentally friendly alternatives adopted instead. These actions reduce plastic waste from the source and gradually change the culture of using disposable items.
Beach Cleanup and Marine Conservation
ASUS has long been committed to coastal environmental protection and continues to participate in coastal adoption and cleanup initiatives. Since 2017, ASUS has adopted a roughly 500-meter stretch of coastline at the Wazihwei Nature Reserve in New Taipei City for conservation and cleanup. The area is adjacent to a mangrove ecosystem and is of high biodiversity value. In April 2025, ASUS organized a beach cleanup at Jiabao Coast in Linkou, mobilizing employees to remove marine debris and thereby fulfilling its commitment to marine ecosystem conservation.
Employee Environmental Education
ASUS holds the monthly "Environmental Learning Corner," sharing environmental issues and sustainability trends through internal communication channels. Topics cover resource circulation, energy conservation and carbon reduction, waste reduction, and recycling and waste sorting. The program guides employees to internalize environmental concepts as daily behaviors. In 2025, cumulative participation reached 44,411 person-times, demonstrating that employee attention to and participation in environmental issues continued to increase and effectively promoting the establishment of an internal sustainability culture.
