Building on its sustainability strategy of “digitizing data, applying technology-driven management, and leveraging core competencies to construct corporate sustainable value”, ASUS continues to advance its four sustainability pillars, implementing concrete goals and action plans.
ASUS continues to drive sustainable transformation through digitized data and scientific management practices, while deepening corporate sustainability value through its core competencies. The newly released 2025 ASUS Sustainability Report provides a comprehensive disclosure of ASUS’ strategies, actions, and achievements across its four sustainability pillars: Climate Action, Circular Economy, Responsible Manufacturing, and Value Creation.

- Climate Action: Based on the SBTi framework and encompassing the entire ASUS Group, ASUS achieved the SBTi Net-Zero target validation. Through diversified green energy resource, carbon reduction strategies, and engagement programs, ASUS continues to drive the entire Group toward net-zero emissions. In addition, ASUS has established a Carbon Data Management Platform to assist its subsidiaries and supply chains in systematic GHG inventories. The platform also incorporates the proactive AI capabilities of the Corporate Carbon Advisor (AI chatbot), further enhancing the Group’s carbon data management and decision-making capabilities. In 2025, ASUS achieved RE55 across its global operations centers, reduced key suppliers’ carbon emissions intensity by 30% compared to the baseline year, and received A List leadership ratings from CDP in both the “Climate Change” and “Water Security” evaluations.
- Circular Economy: ASUS participated in the 2025 revision of the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) 2.0 to stay aligned with international standard-setting trends and provide recommendations. ASUS has further evolved from a standards adopter into a strategic partner in standards development and consultation. ASUS has also fully incorporated EPEAT 2.0 requirements related to climate change mitigation, sustainable use of resources, reduction of chemicals of concern, and responsible supply chains into product lifecycle management. In 2025, ASUS was named one of the first global EPEAT 2.0 Launch Partners and received the EPEAT Climate+ Champion honor. Two flagship notebook models also received the new EPEAT Gold Certification, demonstrating ASUS’ leading performance in green product design and international sustainability standards.
- Responsible Manufacturing: ASUS achieved the first five-star rating from SGS for the ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement-Guideline Performance Evaluation and was honored with the highest “Role Model” rating. ASUS continues to deepen responsible supply chain management through annual audits and supplier grading management mechanisms. For issues with potential high-impact risks, ASUS provides counseling and improvement plans to mitigate the environmental impacts of procurement activities and safeguard labor and human rights. Drawing on years of supply chain management experience and accumulated management data, ASUS has established a Supply Chain Management Platform that integrates supplier audit results, environmental survey data, and other key information. By further incorporating data analytics and AI-based risk models to support decision-making, ASUS is building a more transparent and real-time supplier management mechanism, thereby enhancing supply chain resilience and the effectiveness of sustainability governance.
- Value Creation: ASUS continues to support the “Daxue Mountain Mid-Altitude Pangolin Habitat Enhancement and Conservation Project” and received a Biodiversity Certificate certified by the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency. In 2025, ASUS launched the “Chenglong Ricefish Survey, Research, and Conservation Project” in collaboration with the Kuan-Shu Educational Foundation and Dr. Shih-Bin Huang of Academia Sinica. Focusing on a fish species endemic to Taiwan, the project conducts population and genetic surveys, demonstrating ASUS’ continued commitment to biodiversity conservation and natural value creation through concrete actions. In addition, ASUS has long collaborated with nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies to promote diverse social initiatives by aligning them with its core business operations, while continuing to invest in digital inclusion and community involvement. In 2025, the “Refurbished Computer and Digital Training Program” had cumulatively benefited more than 200,000 individuals. Since 2024, ASUS has also launched the “AI Smart Classroom” project, integrating ASUS products and technology resources to help schools establish forward-looking digital learning environments and further expand.
At the same time, the 2025 ASUS Sustainability Report is aligned with the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and S2). Based on the four disclosure pillars of governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics and targets, the report discloses the impacts of sustainability- and climate-related risks and opportunities on business operations, the value chain, and financial effects. This demonstrates the deep integration of sustainability into ASUS’ operations and supports the continuous enhancement of the Company’s long-term competitiveness and sustainability value.
