ASUS upholds its sustainability strategy " Using Digitized Data and Scientific Management Practices to Support Sustainable Value Creation through Core Competencies", continuously working on carbon management and environmental management issues. In 2024, the company was honored with the SEAL Corporate Sustainability Award's "Environmental Initiatives Award." SEAL stands for Sustainability, Environment, Achievement, and Leadership - the four pillars evaluated by the non-profit SEAL Awards organization, which annually recognizes companies creating real impact in sustainable development.

The environmental and social impacts of climate change can no longer be ignored. ASUS has implemented a systematic carbon reduction strategy, starting by establishing an organizational carbon footprint baseline to identify emissions hotspots and assess climate change risks and opportunities for the business.

In 2023, ASUS passed the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Near-Term Target validation. It is progressively driving its entire value chain toward net-zero through three stages: enhancing product energy efficiency, scaling up renewable energy use, and investing in innovative carbon reduction technologies to remove residual emissions. The whole value chain decarbonization focus on product energy efficiency management and supply chain management. In 2023, ASUS laptop products exceeded ENERGY STAR standards by 42%, eco-friendly product revenue made up 90% of qualified revenue in 2023. By analyzing supply chain emissions hotspots and providing guidance based on individual capabilities and carbon intensities, ASUS helps suppliers build their own carbon management capacities and further identify the key suppliers. Through systematic management, key suppliers reduced greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 26% in 2023 compared to the 2020 baseline year.

Demonstrating sustainability leadership, ASUS participates in sustainability related organizations such as Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD Taiwan) and Taiwan Climate Partnership. ASUS provides its’ experiences driving sustainability through collaboration with organizations across industries, government, and academia to provide pragmatic, actionable sustainability development support and services for Taiwanese enterprises. The award judges commended ASUS data-driven approach to setting and achieving sustainability goals, its continuous progression beyond voluntary international standards—even exceeding energy efficiency targets, as well as the company's rigorous, comprehensive supply chain and human rights management.
